Is this a GPS tracker?
No. Plenty of trackers show where your dog is. Herd Link is about how they are: their day, their rhythm, and early signs that something has changed. There's no location map, and nothing to charge twice a day.
Is it secretly recording my home?
No, and it never will. The collar counts sound events (a bark, a lapping session) on the device itself. Audio is analysed and discarded in the moment. Nothing you could play back ever leaves the band.
What does my vet actually see?
Only what you share, only when you share it. You can hand your clinic a week of real days with one tap, and take it back whenever you like.
What about the collar getting warm?
The collar watches its own temperature and steps its radio down long before it could bother a dog. Warmth is recorded and shown to you as an observation, with a note that die temperature naturally reads hotter than the plastic feels.
Any dog? Any bowl?
Any dog. The bowl beacon is a small Bluetooth tag you set next to the water dish. It needs no wiring and no app, and lasts about a year on its coin cell.
